Starting as a Pattern Maker for leading Australian fashion designers and brands (Collette Dinnigan, Charlie Brown, SABA) to leading fashion production as Technical Design Manager for international brands in Asia, North America and Europe such as Triumph, Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant, Loft, etc.
Lam’s attention to detail and knowledge of garment design and fit, construction and production is exemplary across all categories from outwear to intimate apparel.
Born in Vietnam, but grew up in Australia, Lam is finally bringing to life a long held ambition of developing his own range of designs, souring and producing garments for his own label and others, all proudly made in Vietnam
Lam's design and creative flair enables him to have productive relationships with every designer.
With solid experience in technical design for both intimate and woven and knit apparel from the development of initial patterns, shape development, grading to final production.
For intimate apparel, his strengths are in new cup shapes (cut, sew and PU) and shape-wear developments. His strengths in outerwear apparel are in premium products, soft dresses and silk woven, and women's tailoring.
He has extensive experience with leading premium International brands such as Ann Taylor, Charlie Brown, Collette Dinnigan, Lane Bryant, Loft, Peter Morrissey, Princess Charlotte, SABA Womens, Sarah Jane, Talbots, Triumph International etc.
Since coming to Vietnam in 2020, he's cultivated a range of supplier relationships with a focus on sourcing small-to-medium sized production requirements, complimented by in-house sample development, ensures quality fit ready for production.
